Welcome to Kinked.org!
This is a site orientated for those that have disabilities that practice or incorporate BDSM into their lives, or live an alternative or kinky lifestyle.
We hope to provide a home for those that have disabilities to network, share, hang out, learn, and help folks know that just because you might have a disability - it doesn't mean that you can't live or practice BDSM, be kinky, or live an alternative lifestyle.
Disabilities don't mean you are less of a dominant/top or a submissive/slave/bottom - it simply means that you must learn to work around and find a different way to do some things.
We will NOT focus on disabilities being a negative thing here, but to show there is a positive side, and celebrate what we CAN achieve, over and around our limitations of the flesh.
So join us, make yourself at home, and find friends, share your experiences and what you've learned, and most of all, have fun!
P.S. This is NOT a site meant for pretenders/wannabes that have a fetish of pretending they have a disability or those with the fetish of being an amputee, being disabled or being an invalid. We aren't saying that isn't a valid fetish - simply that this site is for those that have no choice in handling their disablity in their lives. If you are looking for a site that discusses the fetish of being an invalid, amputee, or a being disabled, please try theFetishForums.com - as they have a board specifically for those fetishes.

News & Updates: Looking for columnists, article writers, resource seekers! |
|
I'm looking for folks that might want to help!
Columnists that write a monthly column about things that relate to disabled folks or even an opinion column about various topics and how they relate to those with disabilities that practice BDSM would be highly appreciated!
Those that would like to write articles or essays on various topics relating to those with disabilities, even if it is just a "this is how I see it" piece would also be highly welcomed!
Folks that would like to help by seeking out links that either inform or support or help those with disabilities that are in the lifestyle to add into the links section would also be very appreciated!
So if YOU'D like to help and are sitting there asking, what can *I* do, there are a few suggestions of areas I'd love to see addressed!
I'm not looking for an authority on this, just someone that would enjoy writing at least once a month or here and there about THEIR thoughts or points of views. No expertise is needed unless you'd be thinking about handing out actual medical advice, in which case, I'd be a little wary for legal reasons anyway! (Someone like Charles Moser however I'd be happy to have in a heart beat just cuz he knows where the lines should lie when it comes to dispensing advice on the net)
But outside of that - if you want to help please DO! If you have other ideas on ways to help besides the ones I've listed above, please - let me know! |
